For five years, with a steady stream of eaters as insatiable for Chunks burgers was chunk is for killing, people devour his road side BBQ’s and revel in the gastronomical marvel that Chunk series up.
He would have kept getting away with it, Bournemouth is the end of the line, literally for some, leaving the big smoke. The sea stops the trying to escape further from their problems where the drugs take over. In their stupor, Chunk comes along and takes them and no one knows where they are until one day, his ego gets in the way which starts a series of events that uncovers the heinous truth that lies beneath the surface of the Lonely Gherkin.
A novella so shocking that even the writer finds the narrative disturbing, can be rad in one sitting, just make sure you’re not eating a burger while you read.
