Okay, so when you read books in the genre that you yourself write in – partly for your own reading entertainment but for a bit of research, this book has a plethora of fodder to use. If you think I’m screwed up, you need to read Kepler’s books. Dark, twisted and utterly terrifying.
The book was a struggle in the sense that I think the book was a translation from Scandinavian, and the narrative was a little too exact. There was not enough texture. Although the book creepy enough and the kill scenes were bloody filled with suspense. The book is part of a series; I think the completion of a series and maybe that was what was missing. I don’t think I will read the series. I have far too many books to get through. I think the author is up there, though.
